Betina Krahn
La passione per lo scrivere Betina Krahn se la porta dietro dal liceo, dove ha iniziato scrivendo sceneggiature e poesie. Ma il suo grande amore per la storia ed il romanticismo ha avuto il sopravvento nei primi anni ottanta, durante l'università, quando ha deciso di iniziare a scrivere un romanzo dopo aver letto "Shanna" di Kathleen Woodiwiss. Vedova, divide la sua vita tra i suoi figli ormai adulti, una sorella un pò pazza e due schnauzer bianchi e neri. Ama fare lunghe passeggiate, cucinare, fare del giardinaggio ed il lavoro di volontariato. Da sempre avida lettrice, per lei non c'è nulla di meglio che stare accoccolata davanti al fuoco in una gelida notte del Minnesota con un buon libro in mano.
